So basically Mod View is a new dashboard that your moderators will be able to use and if you are a moderator then you can use it too. Mod View is a customizable channel mode where you can moderate the channel on Twitch along with the necessary tools. Mod View has movable and resizable widgets so that you can customize them according to your needs and will not miss any chats or streams.

How To Access Mod View

To open Mod View Go to the bottom right hand corner of the chat and click on the little sword icon called Mod View. You can also navigate to https://www.twitch.tv/moderator in order to view a list of any live channels you mod for, as well as append the relevant channel name to the end of the https://www.twitch.tv/moderator URL directly.

There are several reasons for Twitch Mods View Not Loading which are listed below:

  • We often face this issue because we do not run the program as an administrator. We end up facing difficulties with our application.
  • The Windows firewall is another reason where you might face issues with it. It turns off some of the features of Twitch.

Method 1: Allow Administration Privileges

If you are facing this issue then I’ll recommend you to allow the administrative privileges for Twitch.

  • First, right click on the Twitch icon and choose properties.

  • Then click check on the square box for “Run the program as administrator” and click on “apply & ok”.

Method 2: Delete Configuration Files

One other thing I’ll suggest is to delete the configuration files. It may contain corrupted files which prevent the Twitch Mod View to open. Here’s how to do it:

  • Press “Win+R” to open “RUN”.

  • Open Twitch Folder.

  • Select all the files and delete them.

Method 3: Sign Out and Sign In

Along with the first method, you can try to sign out from Twitch and then login back in.

  • Open Twitch App.
  • Click on the user icon and scroll down and click on the logout option.

  • After signing out log back into Twitch.
  • Fill in your log in details and click on the login button.

Method 4: Install .NET Framework

If you have found this problem on your Twitch and haven’t installed the .NET framework on your computer then it’s about time where you need to install the .NET framework to fix the issue.

  • Click on the download button and choose all .NET downloads.

  • Now click on the .NET 5.0 version.

  • Download Windows x64 Installer.
  • The downloaded file will appear on the bottom left section. Double click on the Installer file.
  • Click on install, Once installation is complete click on close.

Method 5: Whitelist Twitch On Windows Firewall

As we discussed earlier the Windows Firewall can block some of the features for Twitch. Therefore whitelist Twitch on Windows Firewall to get rid of this problem.

  • Open Control Panel from Windows Search.
  • Inside Control Panel locate and select Windows Defender Firewall.

  • After that click on Change Settings.

  • Now check for the public and private networks in front of Twitch. Restart your computer.
